Laura M. Craig, age 102, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late James Harrison and Eunice Merle (Griffith) Bibb, was born on June 1, 1924, in Jefferson County, Indiana. For 25 years, Laura worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory, and would later become part-owner of the Steer Restaurant in Madison. She attended New Prospect Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, outings, country music, and being around animals. Mrs. Craig passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the River Terrace Health Campus in Madison. 

Her life will be cherished by her son: Philip C. Bibb of Boston, Massachusetts; and her niece who helped care for her in recent years: Ruby Nichols of Madison, Indiana; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Albert Craig who passed away on November 8, 1983; her brothers: Lowell Bibb, Lawrence Bibb, and Rodney Bibb; and her sister: Eunice Pearl Bibb Horine who passed away on June 15, 2015.

Private entombment will take place in the Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
